What is FuzzSwap?

FuzzSwap is an independent US marketplace for guitar pedals, modded gear, guitars and amps, built for everyday musicians. It's in early access now.

How much does it cost to sell on FuzzSwap?

Planned launch fees: a platform fee of 5% on item + shipping for new sellers, stepping down to 4%, 3%, 2% and 1% (Standard, Trusted, Pro, Elite, Cornerstone) as you build a record, plus card processing passed through at cost (2.9% + $0.30). Listing is free.

What is a founding seller?

One of the first 100 sellers. Founding sellers start at the Trusted tier (4%) instead of Standard (5%) and get founding seller details first.

How do tiers work?

Planned: tiers come from completed sales, a clean dispute record, on-time shipping and time on FuzzSwap, not how many dollars you move. Upgrades are immediate; drops come after a 30-day grace period, one level at a time, with a human appeal.

How do I pay?

At launch, checkout is card-first: credit and debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

What are binding offers?

Planned for launch: if a seller turns them on, the buyer's card is held when they make an offer and charged the moment the seller accepts. If the seller declines or the window (max 72 hours) passes, the hold is released.

Can sellers choose their own policies?

Yes, that's the plan. Offers, returns, shipping protection, local pickup and other listing policies will be yours to set for each listing, or set a default once. The only rules we set for everyone are the legal, fraud and card-network ones.

How does genre-first discovery work?

Planned for launch: tell us what you play (rock, metal, indie, shoegaze, blues, country and more) and you'll see that gear first, with an always-on 'outside your lane' shelf. You can turn personalization off or use a neutral sort any time. No one can pay to rank higher.

What is the Mod Sheet?

A planned feature: a list of every mod on a piece of gear: what changed, the parts, who did it, whether it goes back to stock, and photos to prove it, plus parts and labor. It powers a mod-aware price estimate.

Can I bring my Reverb history?

Yes, when the importer opens at launch. Export your orders CSV from Reverb, upload it, and verify your shop with a one-time code. Buyer names, addresses and phones are dropped before storage. If you verify your Reverb shop and import your history, you start at 4%.

What happens if a sale goes wrong?

Planned: every issue gets a case ID and a human decision with a written reason, plus one appeal to a second human. We don't make a cent from disputes, unpaid orders or penalty fees.

Can I talk to a human?

That's the plan: a 'talk to a human' option always visible, and a human response within one business day for every user. Early access questions are answered by the team directly.

Is FuzzSwap affiliated with Reverb?

No. FuzzSwap is independent. Reverb is a trademark of its respective owner. Reverb facts on this site come from Reverb's public help pages as of October 28, 2026.

Can I export or delete my data?

Planned: you'll be able to download your listings, sales, purchases and feedback and request account deletion at any time.

Save a founding seller spot

The first 100 sellers start at the Trusted tier: a 4% platform fee instead of 5%, plus card processing at cost. Sellers who verify their Reverb shop and import their history start at 4% too. Buyers can join early access to hear when we open.
