Reverb's fees, from Reverb's help center
Checked on October 28, 2026. Fees can change, so confirm on Reverb before you list.
1. The 5% selling fee
Reverb charges a 5% selling fee on every item sold, calculated on the total sale amount including shipping. For US dollars the minimum fee is $0.50 and the maximum is $500 (reached at a $10,000 sale). Creating or removing an unsold listing is free. Source: What fees will I pay for selling on Reverb? (Reverb Help Center) (opens in a new tab).
2. The payment processing fee
With Reverb Payments, US sellers pay 3.19% + $0.49 per transaction; Preferred Sellers pay 2.99% + $0.49. Reverb says this fee is calculated on the order's total sale price including shipping and any applicable taxes. Sources: What is a payment processing fee? (Reverb Help Center) (opens in a new tab) and Availability and processing fees for Reverb Payments (Reverb Help Center) (opens in a new tab).
3. Other fees Reverb lists
- Bump fees (paid promotion), if you use Bump.
- Shipping label fees, if you buy labels through Reverb.
- A 1% cross-border fee on international transactions (outside the EEA), and a 2.5% currency conversion fee if your listing currency differs from your payout currency.
Worked example: a $500 pedalboard sale
On a $500 sale with free shipping and no tax, Reverb's fees are $25.00 selling fee + $16.44 processing = $41.44. If the buyer pays 8% sales tax, processing is charged on $540, so processing becomes $17.72 and total fees $42.72, even though the tax goes to the state, not to you.
On FuzzSwap (planned): at the 5% day-one tier the same sale costs $39.80, about even with Reverb. A founding seller at the Trusted tier would pay 4% ($20.00) + card processing at cost ($14.80) = $34.80, whether or not the buyer pays tax. See the full FuzzSwap fee ladder.
